Here you see the tailor Hien Lua having the honors of starting the performance. She was a great help in making this suit, with 3 other tailors helping and she did some tailoring as well, managing the whole process, and on the end checked all and perfected parts where it was needed. One of the best, if not the best tailor of Hoi An.

An art performance specifically designed for the very colourful Old Town of Hoi An, Vietnam, a highly touristic place, also beautiful, filled with tailors, colors, flags, lamps, boats, people, loud music, etc.

When mass tourism becomes problematic, besides being polluting, that town shifts towards a total change in large-scale adaptation to the "needs" of tourists from all over the world. My experience as a visitor there also inspired me to create this performance, this two-layered suit, and walk around the Old Town asking for interaction with other tourists and people living there.
